  REVIEW:

Mission Impossible III, starring Tom Cruise . . . this actor will self-destruction in six months ago.

As the third movie in a line of Mission Impossible sequels, you might expect this one to have run out of ideas and play as a same-old, same-old experience.  Not so.  This movie builds on the ideas of its predecessors and kicks it up a notch.  Ethan Hunt is still an undercover agent with the IMF, but has been out of the field for 10 years spending his time training new recruits and falling in love.  One of his trainees is captured by the bad guys and Ethan is asked to go back into active duty to rescue her.  This sets off a chain of events that takes him across the world to places like Germany , Italy and China .  This film is full of international intrigue, action packed life and death battles and a hot romance.  To save the life of his fiancée, Ethan must defy his orders, go rogue, steal what the bad guys want and find his fiancé in time, before he looses the love of his life forever.  This movie keeps you interested from the start all the way through to a satisfying ending.

Mission Impossible III is intense and exciting from opening scene to closing credits.  With its dash of romance and its sprinkle of timely wit, the movie is everything it’s supposed to be and more.  The combination of a 150 million dollar budget, the hottest writer in television, and the biggest star in the world creates a movie even larger than the sum of its colossal parts.  As writer/director, J.J. Abrams rises to the occasion; and, love him or hate him, Tom Cruise always delivers – though never more so than now!  The story is well conceived, the action sequences unprecedented, and the casting . . . perfect.  For big time action/adventure, check out Mission Impossible III, and – like Ethan Hawk – you too could be a part of the IMF . . . Incredible Movie Fun.
